Founded by a registered nurse in 2005, Xavier College is approved by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) to operate as an accredited institution. Approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the California Education Code.  The school is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). The Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) RN prelicensure program is approved by the state Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The Vocational Nursing (VN) program is approved by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).
